Keira grew up in Ewell, going to school at Wallace Fields, followed by Rosebery School. She left to study English Literature at Cambridge University, and then joined the Army as an Officer. After 7 years in the Army, she decided to settle down and retrained as a barrister, specialising in Family Law. When she and her husband decided to expand their family and move out of London, returning to her childhood turf was an easy decision. She now works as an employed barrister in a local firm in Epsom, and is also a qualified family mediator. Keira is married with three young children, all at local schools. She is a keen gardener and also enjoys keeping fit.
With her legal background providing a greater insight into the problems facing families today, she is very worried about proposed cuts to local facilities, in particular to services for children.
